The Details

Our Suggestions are just a few of the creative menus that David’s Restaurant has to offer.  We invite you to mix and match any items to suit your tastes.  We also appreciate the need for alternative cuisine.  If a special meal is required, please let us know.

 

Deposit and Cancellation Policy:

Tentative bookings are held for a maximum of 14 days, after which they may be cancelled at the discretion of Management.  A deposit of $500.00 is required at the time of confirmation of a group booking.  The deposit is forfeit in the event of a cancellation within 60 days of the event. The deposit will be refunded in full if the cancellation is made prior to 60 days of the event date.  Cancellation of the event must be made in writing.  The deposit will be credited to the final statement for the event.

 

Guaranteed Number:

In order to keep costs and prices reasonable, it is important that we are informed of the number attending the function.  Management will require an approximate count at the time of booking and must be notified of the actual guaranteed attendees 10 days prior to the event.  In the event the attendance numbers change, we are required to bill you for the guaranteed number or the number in attendance, whichever is greater.  Payment of the account is due upon receipt of statement.

 

Room Charges or Property Usage Rentals

All liquor and beverage service is the responsibility of the Dover Coast Golf & Resort Community under the laws of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.  Dover Coast Resident Discount 75%

Double Olive Lounge - $1000.00   Outdoor Wedding Service - $500.00 + Other Rental Items 

Outdoor Photography Only - $200.00   (Full facility rental may have additional fees applied)

 

Liquor:

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario does not permit any alcoholic beverage of any kind to be removed from the licensed establishment.  The permitted hours of service at David’s Restaurant are 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 a.m. Monday through Saturday and to 11:00 p.m. Sunday.  There are three options regarding bar service.  First a Cash bar where all quests purchase their own beverages throughout the evening.  Second an Open bar where all beverages are tracked and charged to the group booking the party.  Third a combination of the two, where a period of time may be set where the booking group has beverages tracked and charged upon their account.  For any Open bar a credit card number and expiry date must be attached to the booking contract but can be paid upon receipt of final bill.

BYOW It is the intent of management to apply for a B.Y.O.W. endorsement to its liquor license through the A.G.C.O.  At this time no personal alcohol is permitted on the property.

 

Decorating:

Please advise us of your intentions to decorate for your function.  The use of confetti or rice is not permitted on Dover Coast Golf & Resort Community property.  A cleaning charge of $200.00 will be levied to those parties who use confetti or rice.  We are happy to assist you with recommendations for your decorative, floral, or music arrangements, however we are not responsible for the set up of any of these listed.

 

Linen:

Linen will be an additional charge to functions that request it.  Any function that requires linen will be assessed a linen charge of $6.99 per tablecloth, $1.00 per napkin, $4.99 per skirt, $5.99 per chair cover with sash.  No personal linen is permitted in David’s Restaurant.

 

Labour Charge:

A labour charge of $20.00 per hour will apply in addition to the Room Rental fee to any function requiring staff to simply be on hand to open and close the facility while no other goods component is required by the booking group.

 

 

NOTES:  In compliance with health regulations, customers or their guests may not remove any food or beverage provided by the Club but not consumed at the Club.  Dover Coast cannot be held responsible for any personal property or equipment brought into the Club. 

All rooms including Courtyard are designated non-smoking.
